After we caught up with Māhera after convention, we chatted about her model of management. As an inspirational chief herself, we needed to understand how she outlined her personal fashion. These phrases by Dame Whina Cooper resonated along with her:

“Care for what they hear. Care for what they see. For a way the youngsters develop, so will the form of Aotearoa.”
